Respiratory pathogens remain a significant public health concern, emphasizing the need for effective surveillance and clinical management. An upcoming virtual Clinician Sensitization program will focus on Respiratory Pathogen Sentinel Surveillance and the Management of Influenza-Like Illness, with the goal of enhancing knowledge and improving coordinated responses to Influenza-Like Illness in Ghana.
The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, the 2nd of August 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Greenwich Mean Time. The session will be hosted on the Zoom Webinar platform.
The program will feature presentations by seasoned public health and clinical experts, covering topics such as an overview of Respiratory Pathogen Sentinel Surveillance in Ghana, laboratory confirmation of respiratory pathogens, and case management of Influenza-Like Illness.
