Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, has concluded her seven-year professional association with the music duo Keche Global.
This collaboration, which commenced in 2019, saw Ms. Gyan Cudjoe take on the roles of investor, manager, and executive producer for the group.
In a statement released on Monday, August 31, 2026, via GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd, she announced that the partnership had reached its natural conclusion, and she has opted not to renew or extend the agreement.
As a result, Keche Global will now function independently, without her financial, managerial, or business support.
The MP emphasized that her decision was made solely on professional grounds, arrived at “with peace, humility, kindness, love, and respect.”
She clarified that the separation was not prompted by any discord, animosity, or controversy.
Reflecting on the fruitful seven-year partnership, Ms. Gyan Cudjoe noted her substantial investments in the duo’s career, which encompassed music production, video projects, marketing, branding, artist development, travel, performances, and various other creative initiatives.
Additionally, she highlighted her efforts in rebranding the duo from Keche to Keche Global, aimed at enhancing their visibility and appeal beyond the borders of Ghana.
Despite the conclusion of their professional ties, Ms. Gyan Cudjoe affirmed that her personal and familial connections with the duo remain intact.
Keche Andrew, known by his birth name Andrew Kofi Cudjoe, is her husband, and Joshua Kojo Ampah is the second member of the duo.
“KECHE WILL ALWAYS BE FAMILY,” the statement declared, as Ms. Gyan Cudjoe extended her best wishes for the group’s success in this new chapter.
She indicated that her focus would now shift towards fostering emerging talents and exploring new music projects, investments, and other creative endeavors through GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd.
