Cunard’s Queen Victoria is slated to undergo a comprehensive refurbishment during an upcoming drydock period this fall, which will entail the addition of eight luxurious staterooms and the introduction of a brand-new cafe, thereby enhancing the overall passenger experience.
The newly incorporated accommodations will comprise Britannia staterooms, with three of these staterooms being categorized as Britannia Deluxe Oceanview staterooms, representing a premium class of cabins that promise to offer an elevated level of comfort and sophistication. As of now, all eight of these staterooms are available for booking on voyages that commence on November 11.
The Pavilion Wellness Cafe, which initially debuted on the Queen Anne in 2024 and subsequently on the Queen Elizabeth last year, will be introduced on the Queen Victoria, providing passengers with a unique dining venue that serves breakfast, lunch, and daytime meals. The diverse menu at the Pavilion Wellness Cafe will feature an array of delectable options, including vegan choices and an assortment of sustainably sourced meat, fish, and dairy products, thereby catering to the eclectic tastes and dietary preferences of discerning passengers.
In addition to the introduction of the new cafe and staterooms, the Grand Lobby, Queens Room, and the Grill Suites will all undergo a meticulous refresh, with the Grill Suites receiving brand-new furnishings and detailed embellishments, designed to exude elegance and refinement.
The drydock refurbishment is scheduled to commence on October 17 in Rotterdam and is expected to be completed by November 5, marking the culmination of an extensive revitalization project aimed at reinvigorating the Queen Victoria and positioning it as a premier luxury cruise liner.
