Fans applaud Antoine Semenyo as he scores for Man City once more, his third goal in four games.

Since moving from Bournemouth to Manchester City for £62.5 million, Antoine Semenyo has maintained his purple patch form.
After missing his team’s Champions League loss to Bodo/Glimt, the 26-year-old scored his third goal in four games for the Cityzens.

On social media, fans showered Semenyo with praise for his explosive start to life at City. Former Great Olympics coach Prince George Koffie also praised Semenyo.

After scoring once more in Manchester City’s Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers on January 24, 2026, Ntoine Semenyo is still shining in the team’s colors.
The goal highlighted his stellar start since leaving AFC Bournemouth in January, a run of form that has also earned a favorable forecast. The Black Stars attacker has now scored in three of his four appearances for the Cityzens, demonstrating how rapidly he has adjusted to Pep Guardiola’s rigorous style.

Against Wolves, Semenyo scores

After missing the midweek Champions League loss to Bodo/Glimt owing to UEFA constraints, Semenyo was brought back into the starting lineup and quickly established himself.

After returning from AFCON activities with Egypt, Omar Marmoush scored for the Sky Blues, giving City an early lead, according to Sports Mole.

Observe Marmoush’s objective:

After pursuing a lofted delivery from Marc Guehi, the Semenyo almost extended City’s lead four minutes later. Semenyo would typically expect to score, but Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa reacted quickly to keep him out. Before the split, there was redemption.
During first-half added time, the Ghanaian calmly guided a left-footed shot into the bottom corner after latching onto a sharp cross from Bernardo Silva and skipping past his marker with his first touch.

Observe Semenyo’s objective:

According to Transfermarkt, it was his first Premier League goal for City after earlier goals in the FA Cup and EFL Cup.

With the effort, the only game he hasn’t scored for Guardiola’s team since joining is the Manchester United loss.
Supporters praise Semenyo
The increasing impact of Semenyo has not gone overlooked. According to the BBC, he now has 11 league goals this season; the only players who scored more throughout the 2025–2026 season were Igor Thiago and Erling Haaland.
Impressed with his deft movement and composed finish, supporters instantly showered social media with praise.
