McQueen Is Making A Comeback To London Fashion.

The brand that was started by Lee Alexander McQueen is preparing to hold its upcoming runway show in London on September 20th. This event will mark the brand‘s return to London Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2027 collection. The show is part of the ongoing efforts by Kering, the company that owns the brand, to restructure and reposition McQueen in the fashion industry.

McQueen is making a comeback to London Fashion Week, with its Spring/Summer 2027 runway show scheduled for September 20th. Gianfranco D’Attis, who is now the CEO, shared that London holds a special place in the brand‘s history and continues to be an essential part of its identity. D’Attis took over from Gianfilippo Testa earlier this month, as Kering continues to reshape and redefine the brand following several years of financial challenges.

This decision is beneficial for London Fashion Week, as it brings another major brand into the September schedule, joining established names like Burberry and the recent revival of Christopher Kane’s Mulberry brand.
Laura Weir, the CEO of the British Fashion Council, commented that McQueen’s return is a strong endorsement of Britain’s creative talent, highlighting the bold and unique spirit of its fashion scene.
