The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) management is issuing a public notice stating that, as of Monday, 20th July 2026, the currently operational Car Park located at Terminal 3 of the Accra International Airport (AIA) will be officially closed to all stakeholders and the general public.
This closure is a necessary step to pave the way for the upcoming construction of a state-of-the-art, seven-storey Multi-Purpose Car Park and Airport Hotel Complex, which is expected to significantly enhance the airport’s infrastructure and amenities.
In order to ensure that parking facilities remain readily available to the public during this transitional period, GACL has taken proactive measures by constructing the Terminal 3 Car Park Annex, a facility that boasts a substantial capacity to accommodate over 600+ vehicles, thereby guaranteeing that the general public continues to have access to convenient and reliable parking options.
To facilitate a seamless parking experience, a team of experienced parking attendants will be stationed at the new car park to provide expert guidance and direction to all airport users, assisting them in navigating the premises with ease, both upon entry and exit.
