As of early Wednesday, a thorough review of the Houston Police records revealed no incident report that matched the descriptions circulating on social media, which bears a striking resemblance to the false rumors of a shooting involving him that surfaced in January.
The activist, known for his provocative and often contentious views on street culture, as well as his highly publicized clashes with several prominent rappers, has thus far declined to publicly comment on the matter.
The fact that the alleged incident occurred in the Fifth Ward, a historic neighborhood that is nonetheless plagued by a propensity for violence, serves to underscore the very real risks and potential consequences associated with his bold and unapologetic persona, which has consistently sparked intense debate and controversy throughout his career.
