Bernard Antwi Boasisko, known as Chairman Wontumi has sheds light on the situation surrounding the Exim Bank case, offering his account of the issues that led to the charges against him. The charges including money laundering over a GH₵ 14.3 million loan to his firm for a maize product that prosecutors say used forged documents and defrauding by false pretence.
In a recent radio interview on Asaasepa 107.3 in Accra, he called any past issues political not personal , while his communications director emotionally pleaded for forgiveness to avoid jail.

According Chairman Wontumi in 2018 ministry of Agric 34th anniversary for farmers, his maize farm at Sekyere was the first runner up during that year best farmer awards.
Wontuni insists it`s “business gone bad” due to floods has pleaded not guilty, and his lawyer is negotiating for charge withdrawal ahead of the June 18 court date. In his interview recounts when UTV show Ayekoo came to his farm for interview and inspects.

His Lawyer Andy advise him to be in court with Exim Bank since they are company to activate the pre bargaining act, act 1079 section 162B.
