The Kumawood fraternity united in a poignant display of love and solidarity as numerous prominent actors came together with family and friends to honor the late Kwadwo Kwakye Obuobi, affectionately known as Sir Rostomo, during his one-week memorial observance.
This solemn gathering featured some of Ghana’s most recognizable figures from the local film industry, who momentarily set aside their busy schedules to lend their support to the grieving family and commemorate the life of their esteemed colleague.
Notable attendees included Mercy Asiedu, Vivian Jill Lawrence, Matilda Asare, Paa George, Kwadwo Nkansah LilWin, Uncle Fii, and Taylor, who joined fellow mourners in paying their respects at the memorial observance.
The atmosphere was charged with a blend of sorrow and nostalgia as attendees reminisced about the actor’s significant contributions to Ghana’s cinematic landscape and shared treasured memories of his life and career.
Sir Rostomo’s family, comprising his widow and three children, received heartfelt support from colleagues and loved ones who gathered to provide comfort during this challenging time.
