• A typhoon cautioning demonstrates that supported breezes of no less than 74 mph are normal in 36 hours or less.

August 3, 2024 – Fortifies into a typhoon in the Bay of Mexico.

August 5, 2024 – Makes landfall in Florida close to Steinhatchee. Debby is faulted for somewhere around four passings in Florida and one in Georgia.
August 8, 2024 – Makes a second landfall in South Carolina.
