Months after a devastating fire damaged significant portions of his culinary enterprise, renowned Ghanaian hiplife artist Reggie Rockstone has endured another calamity, as the torrential rains that occurred on Monday resulted in his residence being severely inundated with floodwater.
The veteran musician posted videos on social media platforms, which depicted the floodwaters engulfing his residence and submerging several of his luxury vehicles that were parked within the compound, thus illustrating the severity of the situation.
The footage also captured the extensive flooding in his neighborhood, where roads and adjacent properties were completely submerged, leaving numerous residents stranded and unable to navigate the area.
In the videos, it was evident that the floodwaters had covered a substantial portion of the compound, rendering it impossible for vehicles to enter or exit the area as the rainfall continued to intensify.
The torrential rains that occurred on Monday triggered widespread flooding across various parts of Accra, resulting in the submersion of several communities, displacement of residents, and extensive damage to numerous homes, businesses, and vehicles.
