Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne says he didn’t hold consults with some other clubs about leaving the Etihad this mid year.
The Belgian had said he was “available to everything” and addressed his family about perhaps leaving City subsequent to being connected with a transition to Saudi Arabia toward the finish of last season.
The 33-year-old joined the ongoing Premier League champions in 2015 from German club Wolfsburg, one year before Kick Guardiola’s arrangement as manager.
Guardiola demanded as of late that De Bruyne wouldn’t be sold and the Belgian playmaker says he never had conversations with likely purchasers about an exchange.
“I haven’t addressed anybody, frankly,” De Bruyne told BBC Radio Manchester.
“There has been a great deal of commotions and news. I said in the mid year I expect a calm summer and that really occurred. I’ve been on vacation for quite a long time, returned and began preparing. That was all there was to it. Nothing to tell.
“I’ve not been engaged by anyone or addressed anyone.”
De Bruyne has one year to run on his current arrangement at City and is expecting consults with the club about his future.
“When the season goes on, I’m certain there will be discussions to be had with City,” he said.
“I simply need to feel much better, play great football and this will come in the forthcoming months. I don’t actually feel the scramble for the occasion.”
Guardiola’s side have made a 100 percent winning beginning to their Chief Association title protection.
De Bruyne has begun every one of the three matches, scoring once and giving one help.
The midfielder, who has been chosen by Belgium for Nations League fixtures against Israel and France this month, has brought home six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five EFL Cups and one Champions League title during his time at the club.
