Award winning Ghanaian actor and New Patriotic Party (NPP) ally Prince David Osei, has started discussion via web-based entertainment, communicating his conviction that former President John Dramani Mahama’s re-visitation of force is improbable.
In a new Twitter post, the famous actor excused the chance of John Mahama winning the presidency, even with supports from notable pastors across the nation.
As indicated by him, spiritual support won’t change the result of the impending election for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer.
“Regardless of whether every one of the pastors were to implore and bless Ex-President Mahama, he wouldn’t regain the presidency,” he partook in his tweet.
The actor proceeded to address allegations aimed at the NPP with respect to their contribution in unlawful mining, or galamsey, which has been a central issue in Ghana. He contended that this issue isn’t restricted to one political party, calling attention to that both NPP and NDC individuals, alongside persuasive figures, have been connected to the criminal behavior.
“The continuous propaganda strategies against the NPP, remembering allegations of inclusion for unlawful mining, won’t succeed,” he composed.
He focused on that the battle against galamsey is intricate and can’t be credited exclusively to the decision government.
Prince likewise underscored that galamsey has been a longstanding issue in Ghana, one well established in political impact. He noticed that influential people from different areas, including bosses, legislators, and business elites, assume a critical part in the continuation of unlawful mining exercises, making it challenging to uphold regulations.
“The issue of unlawful mining includes people from both NDC and NPP, lawmakers, ministers, and general society. A few of us are not simple onlookers; our requests are significant,” Osei added.
