The National Theatre of Ghana on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, held its Annual Conference of Performing Arts at the British Council, Accra.
Themed “A Rich Performing Arts Industry: The Job of Public Policy, the event united pertinent partners in the imaginative expressions industry.
The event gave a stage to creatives to propose arrangements on how the Ghanaian inventive industry can develop.
Wednesday’s social event is an introduction of a significant gathering booked for October 2, 2024.
A Pan Africanist Scholar and Writer; Prof. Esi Sutherland-Addy, Dr Edward Odoi, Mr, Kwame Boadi and Mr Joseph Sarpong were the speakers for this conference which was moderated by Apiorkor Seyiram Ashong-Abbey.
That’s what the speakers acknowledge, a rich performing arts industry is imperative to a flourishing social scene and there was the requirement for a public policy to support the industry.
They supported for interest in imaginative foundation as well as further developed subsidizing and funding, a policy system to reinforce licensed innovation freedoms.
