The music world is in grieving as it has been reported that the American rapper Rich Homie Quan, known for his track Sort of Way, has died at 34 years old – abandoning four children
Rap star Rich Home slice Quan has kicked the bucket at his home in Atlanta, Florida, on Thursday.
The American artist – whose genuine name Dequantes Devontay Lamar and delivered tracks including Sort of Way and Way of life – was only 34. Relatives of the star have made sense of they are “broke” and “grief stricken” by his unexpected demise.
TMZ made it known of the performer’s passing, composing that his family are: “Broke and shattered by his abrupt demise. No reason for death has been accounted for and they’re frantically looking for replies.”
While accolades for the late artist have been given by those near him and others in the music business. Vocalist Jacquees, a continuous partner of Rich’s, took to X to share sympathies, posting: “Find happiness in the hereafter my sibling Rich Home slice Quan. I love you forever. #Richgang.” And companion, Richard Obvious, shared an Instagram Story post that expressed, “I’m crushed,” following the shock insight about Rich’s demise.
Rich was endorsed to Motown Records and initially began delivering music in 2012 with his presentation mixtape, named I Go In on Each Melody. It was only after 2018 that he delivered his presentation collection, named Rich as in Soul. The record included singles Changed and 34.
His greatest hits were Sort of Way, which was delivered in 2013 and Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh), which was delivered in 2015. His track Brave, which highlighted Youngster Ink, Tyga, Rib and YG, was his just graphing track in the UK and arrived at number 70, and was taken from the soundtrack Enraged 7: Unique Film Soundtrack.
The performer had four children – including his oldest, Devin, who was brought into the world in 2006 however the artist wasn’t educated about until five years after the fact.
