Highlife musician and business visionary, Rex Omar, has been entrusted by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to lead activities with respect to creatives ahead of the impending general elections.
In a dispatch sighted by myjoyonline.com, the party demonstrates that Rex Omar is “the lead delegate with the command to mobilies and
organise stakeholders in the imaginative industry ” to help in campaign activities in a development to the December 7, 2024 elections.
Rex Omar, who is likewise a communicator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on creative arts policies in their manifesto, has been chosen to address the party at Joy FM’s impending Manifesto Debate on the Creative Economy.
Additionally, Sadiq Abdullai Abu, otherwise called Baba Sadiq, who is the NDC Parliamentary candidate for Okaikoi Central Constituency, will be involved also.
From the camp of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will be the Deputy Minister of The tourism, Arts and Culture, Mark Okraku-Mantey and the CEO of the Ghana tourism Authority (GTA), Akwasi Agyeman.
This occasion which will be hung on September 14, 2024, will unite partners of Ghana’s tourism, Arts and Culture in the studio of Joy Prime for the fifth edition of Showbiz FM’s Showbiz Roundtable.
This season, Joy FM is offering a viewpoint initiative stage for ideological groups to introduce their policies on Ghana’s creative economy.
